If you're talking the full-sized USB wired keyboard like this:

Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad - Apple Store (U.S.)

...the Apple Store is charging $49.00...so $48 at the BX/PX with no tax is certainly slightly better than the Apple Store.

But...I'm sure you can do better purchasing a used Apple keyboard on e-Bay (even with shipping costs)...and many times these used keyboard look & work just like new. For example...I recently purchased an Apple bluetooth keyboard for $37.00 (shipped)...versus $69.00 + tax from the Apple Store (new).

Just did a quick e-Bay search. In case you're interested in a wireless bluetooth Apple keyboard...here's one "Buy It Now" on e-Bay for $34.99 (free shipping):

I've previously purchased the full-wired Apple keyboard for $25.00 off of my local Craig's List.

Like all the rest of the Apple products sold by AAFEES it's only slightly below what you can buy it for at the Apple store. However, add to that no state tax and there is some saving. (8.5% sales tax in Fort Worth)

Out local exchange here in Fort Worth ran a special sale last week on all Apple Mac machines. They were giving a $50 instant rebate in addition to the slightly reduced price of the machines. That plus no sales tax amounted to a substantial savings.
