Hi there you lot, Just wondering if you could help a newbie like me?
Just got my 1st Mac, after years of beating my head against my Windows keyboard! Why oh why didn't I buy one years ago, Its fab. It just works and works, BUT i have got a question I'm sure you've been asked a zilion times, but was wondering if you can help?

I need to burn some photos to cd off iphoto then delete them, to free up some memory. I feel that my puter is slowing down because the visualizer has gone all slow and stuttery.
Now if I burn them then delete them in iphoto, are the really deleted or do I need to actually delete them in the pictures folder in finder?
And if I do are the photos I've burnt photos at all, or just thumb kind of links back to the picture folder??
Sorry about the ramblings, but I dont want to loose any of my family photos forever, and dare not press DELETE untill I'm sure.
Or is the visualizer thing something else alltogether????
Cheers for your time.
Rob.
Ps. its raining here. Again......
QUOTE Thanks
