I have a new 15" i7 MBP. I'd like to upgrade the ram from 4gig to 8gig. In the PC world I bought ram a crucial.com Crucial is currently out of ram for MBPs.

Where are you buying ram. If there a reliable alternative to Crucial?

Thanks
Monty

If Crucial online is out of stock - head over to OWC.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.

Yeah...your employer pays for your:

- commuting costs to/from work
- your computers
- your clothing
- free lunch

...only problem is...with all this "free stuff" how come the wallet feels so much lighter at the end of the month!

Sadly this also means your employer watches you go to the bathroom...

21" 3.6GHz Core i5 iMac "Sputnik" ■ 12GB Crucial RAM ■ Monsoon flat-panel speakers ■ HP P1006 LaserJet printer ■ Full Keyboard ■ Canoscan 9000F flatbed scanner ■ ...and then of course me (being a narcissist, I consider this to be the most important mod).

Your employer is also stealing your lunch out of the office refrigerator.
