Mild mile marker here. I spent most of the weekend moving files from my old PC and setting up my Mac just the way I want it and, just now, I officially shut the PC off. Dismantled it, and began the long process of preparing it for my daughters to use. I've officially cut the umbilical cord (and I couldn't be happier). I'm all Mac, baby!

It's only a matter of time, until your daughters takes over your mac or want their own. You've been warned!

Sadly you may be right. Just tonight they were both whining about how nice Daddy's computer looks compared to Mommy's. 3...2...1....

Avid gamer actually. I'm one of those geeks that paints little pewter minatures for games like Battletech and Dungeons & Dragons.

Congrats! I recently did the same (back in February) and handed off my old HP laptop to my little sister. Upgraded to a MacBook Pro and couldn't be happier.

Enjoy!
