How Do I Convert An Avi File And Burn It Onto A Dvd To Play On Any Dvd Player. Can I Use Idvd To Perform This Process. If It Helps I've Also Got Toast 6 Titanium.

Any Help Would Be Most Appreciated!!!!!!!!

The way I do it is:

1. Convert avi to MOV using Divx Doctor II.
2. Use FFMPEGX to convert the mov file to Video TS / Audio TS Folders.

My dvd player will read the V-TS an A-TS folders, natively, when written to a dvd+r. I just use the Finder to burn the disc. Some don't however so you may need toast to burn these files to a dvd your player can read.

Not all of the older DVD players can read/play a DVD+R. Keep that in mind, if you have trouble. Yo umay need to use DVD-R.
