Hi,

I have a question concerning the trash, I placed something in their earlier, a pdf, file and now when I want to go empty the trash it won't let me. A message comes up saying the operation could not be completed because the file is in use, which it is not.

Anyone know what to do?

try doing a restart. if not, a repair permissions in disk utility, then try again.

Thanks for answering.
Actually all I did was move it to the downloads folder, then move it back to the trash.
