I am a hardcore PC user and I dont really care much for OSX, but I like the iMac design. But one of my main uses for my PC is outputting to my LCD TV and playing HD movies and videoes in mkv and with DD/DTS audio.

If I install Windows 7, will I be able to output video to LCD and use toslink optical audio cable to my reciever?

Yes. You can do that.

But if you are not going to ever use OS X then I'd advise against getting an imac. Cause there is a lot of much cheaper alienware and other options that will do exactly what you want.
