    Specs:
    iMac 2010 27" QuadI7 OS10.12, iMac 2008 OSX10.11, MBP Late2011OS10.12 , iPad Air, iPhone 3GS
As far as what comes with Panther or Tiger, Safari, Mail, IChat for Aim, Iphoto & Itunes.

As far as non Apple made software, Textwrangler is a GREAT text editor, Adium for a Multi Chat client, Colloquy for IRC, and Photoshop.

There is more but those are some of my real favorites. I do like IWork and hope Apple adds a Spreadsheet soon. In the mean time, NeoOffice is very nice.

Hard to pick just one item!

From a G4 400MHz to an Intel Mac Mini to iMac Core Duo to a Macbook Pro 2.6GHz.............gotta love Apple!

    In no particular order:

Firefox, iTunes, iPhoto, Mac the Ripper, Photoshop Elements and TextEdit, because sometimes you just want to keep things simple. :-)

Coming from a Windows world, I was surprised by how well RealPlayer is made for the Mac. It's not my favorite software, but nevertheless, I think it's rather nice.

The Windows version is too bloated for my liking.
