Need help

Hello, I have set up two additional users on my mac for my kids and i need to share a spreadsheet doc with them but i can't seem to figure it out... I have put it in the drop box, allowed read access to both of them and yet they can not access it.. what else do i need to do so they can read this?

Can you detail the steps? I just tried it with my son's account -> I dragged a document into his dropbox. Logged into his account -> Opened the dropbox and was able to edit and save the document.
