Can't Delete Program

I downloaded Cover Stream and decided to delete it. On my desktop there is an icon for Cover Stream Launcher. The icon has a pencil and ruler picture on the bottom. When I try to move it to the trash, it says it can't be moved to the trash because it is open. How do I get rid of this from my desktop and computer? I tried finding it in applications but nothing for Cover Stream is there.

Also, when I go to empty the trash, it says - The operation can’t be completed because the item “Cover Stream Launcher” is in use.

I quit the program running in activity monitor and that worked. Sorry for the post
