Synchronizing all Data across to new Macbook

Hello, I have just purchased my new Macbook pro 13" I am already using a 17" Macbook Pro. How can I copy all my Software, files, emails accross to the new Macbook without loosing important information like serial numbers for software etc. ... I basically would like to mirror everything and work with both in paralell and like to keep them synchronized. One in the Office and one at home ... looking for help
