Did I read on here somewhere that there was a hack that would let you increase the resolution on your iBook if you want to use a 2nd monitor? I tried a search but couldn't find it.

There is only a hack that allows you to use screen spanning, nothing for resolution as far as i know

Search for the screen span doctor. Thats the hack. It wont let you do a higher resolution on the LCD, it will on a 2nd monitor. I used it all the time on my iBook when I had it. Its not a hack, but a feature that unlocks what Apple locked. http://www.rutemoeller.com/mp/ibook/ibook_e.html

Be sure to clicl on the Tiger updated version if you use Tiger. Here is a review on it being used on an iMac G5 as well. http://www.macworld.com/weblogs/edit...ning/index.php

I was wondering, since this can void your warranty, how will Apple know if you used it, then deactivated it?
