Finder- Opening up same location when saving or uploading
Hello, I use a mac at work - I upload files and save files all day long- the issue I am having is : lets say I am uploading files to a website and there are multiple files in the same folder. I am uploading one at a time. Each time I upload, the file finder takes me all the way back to the sidebar ( I am in column view) which mean I have to click multiple times to get several files deep to get back to last place I was. Is there a way to set the preferences so it will direct me back to the last place I was? I am on snow leopard . macbook pro

    Specs:
    2008 15" MBP Yosemite, 2012 21.5" iMac Yosemite
Finder menu at the top, select "Preferences".
Under the "General" tab, about midway down there's "New Finder Windows Open" and a drop-down selection. Choose "...other" and then you can browse to where you want a new window to automatically open.
