    In it now
Well, I finally did it. After soldiering along with the trusty AlBook and Pismo that brought me over to the world of Mac, I decided to take the plunge. I pulled the trigger on a refurb Macbook, 2.26 Ghz, Core 2 Duo, loaded up with Snow Leopard. As part of the package, I also grabbed a copy of iWork.

    This should be interesting...

Way to go! Since you got a refurb, I assume that means you have installation discs for the OS and iWorks that came with it. Keep track of those. You'd be surprised how many people post here saying they can't find their discs!

Now I'm gonna go nuts, as I just got the "shipped" notice. Now I wait...

    I HATE to wait...

Well, the good news is, the packages have been delivered!!

The bad news is, they're at the office, and I'm 5.5 hours away, and won't get in till late, late tomorrow evening. And won't get to the office till Saturday...

When are we going to get the whole teleportation-based delivery system thing working???
