Is it flash?

I have realized when playing music on Pandora that the window can't be minimized or put into another tab or the music stops playing. So I tried finding out why and the only thing I found was someone saying that in Safari if the window is not active Flash applications tend to stop working until the window is active again.

Is this true? Is there any way around that? I would like to be able to minimize the window to the dock and still have it play the music.

dont know, pandora doesnt even work for me anymore.
