Hi there,
I have someone that is looking to get into Macs and has asked me a few questions that I'm not sure of. The first is if a Mac can connect to a windows domain controller on Windows Server 2003. He wants to know if the Mac will honour the permissions and passwords and so on, user rights etc. Does anyone know where I could look for more information? Also what is the best terminal emulation program for OS X, to connect to VT100 or anything like that? Thanks! |

I haven't used this myself, but the place to start is the Directory Access utility (in /Applications/Utilities/).
There's more info in the Directory Access Help menu [EDIT: Here's Apple's glossy on Mac-Windows interoperability] Last edited by technologist; 06-10-2005 at 07:52 PM. |
