booting45 upit takes about 45 seconds for my mac to get rolling once i turn it on. is there anyway to make it perform faster. i know on a pc to clean up...but not sure on my mac

Be happy with what you have got eh? That is a fast booting time for a recent operating system which you do not indicate, nor the machine type, which makes it difficult to assist.
