Some girl just walked past my desk here at the library - and the magsafe just saved my ***. Her bag snagged my cord...

Anyway, I used the Mac version of OpenOffice called NeoOffice for a while. But I was forced to install Microsoft Office 2008... I'm an accounting student and there are some formatting issues and functions I can't replicate in NeoOffice Calc.

Thanks again guys.
Hi again Joe,

If I were you, I would visit your local library and see if they have any of the following books, which will help your transition.
Snow Leopard for Dummies - Bob LeVitus
Mac OS X Snow Leopard simplified - Paul McFedries - ISBN 9780470508381
The Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard pocket guide - Jeff Carlson - ISBN 9780321646897

I've given my GF a copy of the above books, because she now has an account on my Mini, since her 'Doze lappie decided to spew its chips and, according to her, I teach too fast for her to follow.

Congrats, though. Those new iMacs are almost as awesome as the original ones!
Nah, were far from rich. Just we both are still living at home till the new year so we have little over heads. Just our cars and mobiles etc.
