    This is a great site.
The only thing Microsoft could make that would not suck, would be a vacum.

Welcome aboard. I got my first Mac (MacBook) about a month ago & have loved very minute of the switcher experience. If you're totally new to Mac, you might wanna check out some of the tutorial videos Apple has on their website. I found some of them to be pretty helpful for getting an overall feel for my new baby & what it can do.

Good luck, and I hope the time passes quickly 'til the 20th.

Welcome! As they say in the Mac world, "once you go Mac, you'll never go back"

This forum is a great resource for Switcher questions (hence the name), so just know that we'll be here when you need us.

There can be a lot of information overload when you switch so it's better to just read the basics and then learn things as you go. For the most part there are a lot of similarities between Mac and Windows especially since Microsoft has a habit of copying Apple.

You'll learn the differences as you use your new Mac and of course you can always ask on this forum. If you do want to do some more pre-learning you can go to Apple's Switch 101 tutorials.

Welcome to Mac and enjoy your stay!
