Changge password?

Hello, I've had this 24" iMac for a couple months, just like new. I am giving it to my daughter and I just reinstalled Snow Leopard, which I thoiught would wipe the hd, like windows does. So what I would like to know is how I change the password on it. If it is possible. Thank you.

on into System Preferences > Accounts > Password and change the user name and password. Alternatively select a new account in your daughter's name, let her set the password, and when she gets in delete the current account.
