Hey guys,
I got Office 2004 on my iMac G5 1.8GHZ, and I runs really slowly and laggy.
Any ideas why?
It has been like that since I installed if (which was the day I got my mac) and is the same whether I have many or no other programs open.
Any tips?
Cheers,
Eddy

Try repairing the permissions on your iMac, that actually helped a performance cut that I had after installing a program. To do this follow these steps. NOTE: Restart your PC first and then open nothing but the following path. Hope this helps!

Finder --> Applications --> Utilities --> Disk Utilities --> Click Repair permissions

Turn off WYSIWYG fonts under General in Preferences. Its should help make starting up the Microsoft Office applications a bit faster.
