Apologies.... I think I may have put this in the wrong area.

I have bought my first iMac and am struggling with some aspects .... either the OS, Safari or NeoOffice.

I need to be able to cut and paste text and graphics from a web page and copy it into a NeoOffice text document with text and images intact.

When I try, all I get is the text???

I've tried everything I can think of and now need some expert help.

Kind regards,
Newbie JohnMak

If you are trying to insert a image, 1st drag it to the your desktop and then into *said* document ....
You should be able to cut and paste easy enough.
highlight text then
cmd~c for copy
cmd~x for cut
cmd~v for paste.

And as i said just drag image if you need it

Cheers

Hi TattoedMac.
Yup it worked.
It's going to be a bit of a pain when I cut and paste pages with lots of images E;f photographic tutorials, but at least I've got a workaround now.

Many thanks for the guidance. It is appreciated.

Hi Chas,
That also sounds interesting.
I've just had a quick hunt through the menus to make a pdf but I can't find anything.

Do I do this from within Safari?

From within Safari, File>Print... (or command+P) and at the bottom of your print screen there's a PDF tab and the drop down has options for saving as a file, etc. The process is also known as Print-to-PDF.
