I bought iWork from the Apple website, i.e. downloaded, then purchased serial number. I wrote down the number and lost the paper. Do you think Apple would give it to me again if I proved I bought it? Anyone had this situation?

Hoo boy, that's a toughy. Let us know how it works out. I bet they would, it's just a matter of proving it.

You may also find that they emailed you the serial number when you purchased it. Check your spam email box if it isn't in your inbox.

If it's worth doing, it's worth OVERdoing.

I'd suggest contacting the Apple Store customer service line
