Photoshop/CS2 & OS 10.6

I've just upgraded my system to OS 10.6 but am still using CS2. I cannot open my Photoshop files by dragging the file (tiff, jpeg, whatever) over the Photoshop icon on the doc a I've always done. I get an error message that says "could not complete this request because Photoshop does not recognize this type of file." Any ideas on how I can fix this problem? Do I need to change something in Preferences?

I believe that you will need to upgrade Adobe CS2 to a version which is compatible with Snow Leopard. Please check with Adobe support.
