Disable CD/DVD Verifying

I'm running Snow Leapard. Is it possible to turn verifying of burned CD/DVD off? This is the burn task through Finder.

Burn task through the Finder? Are you referring to using Disk Utility to burn an image or CD\DVD? Or are you using a third party program to burn with? If Disk Utility, you can turn off "verify image" in the Disk Utility preferences. I'm not sure that's what you're looking for though?

It's a program that came with the laptop. It may be a part of Disk Utility but I can't find that option under the preferences. Just to clarify, this burn process is one of the options available when you right click on a folder or image file. It's a program that is included with the OS.

There was an old thread on this topic from two years ago but it was never figured out.
