Justin(liliMacfreak):

1. I would completely forget about the ibook in this case. The iBook is so close in price to the powerbook, yet is to underspecced(gives less) for a similar price.

So basically, it's down to iMac vs. Powerbook.

Personally, If I can't have both a desktop AND a laptop, I only want a laptop.

I think any apple laptop, especially the powerbook will be fine for your needs, plus you get the added bonus of being able to use the powerbook anywhere. As well, it's down to for $100, you can have portability. If you save the $100, you can have better performance(keep in mind that the powerbook is still PLENTY for your needs.)

Is a 2Ghz Powermac G5, 23" display, a stereo loud enough to break all the windows in my neighborhood, a brand new $659.49 bike (ordered today), and dinner tonight; is that too much to ask for?for to day

Well I guess a Powermac and a 30" display is out of the question.

That's all fine, but I'd advise you go get a spelling lesson(that shouldn't cost too much).

*today is one word
**dinner, diner is the place where you eat.

Lol, just kidding. I mean no harm. *eats cookie* *calms nerves*

EDIT: I hate when people fix their posts..now mine^ seems pointless.

Although it seems like I'm being a grammar nazi, can you try to use some punctuation? That sentence is barely readable because of it's lack of punctuation.

So, what are your main uses for your iMac/Power Book?

I hate it when people don't use puncuation! <No Offense!> My friend seems to have forgotten where the period, comma, exclamation mark, and question mark are. Whenever I'm at his house, I say "Do I have to remind you where the puncuation keys are again, Ty?".<lie> Then I pull out a detailed map of his keyboard WITH the puncuation keys highlighted, and recite a verse from the Language handbook from school.</lie>

I'd go with the PowerBook if I were you. I'm getting an ibook, but thats because I can't seem to find any places that need 13 year olds.

My main uses are programming and video production. I also would be using it for picutres, and deffinetly for muic making. I just can't decide between a G4(PowerBook) or a G5(iMac).

Do you mean job wise. I have a job because of my best friends dad, he hired me, and I have a very slow income. I am 14 sorry to correct you. Do you live on Long Island???
