And it was great! I got to play with the mini and the imacs in action! They even had a really exspensive PowerMac with a wacom hooked up to it. When you played itunes on it, you could REALLY hear it. I wish I had a mac even more now
. But some people were just, going online and IMing, which was kinda annoying.Edit: MOA=Mall Of America Last edited by Aarow; 05-12-2005 at 10:57 PM. Reason: needed to say somethin more |

My first time to the Apple store was around Oct 2004. I felt like a kid in a candy store, of course. It was great to see some of the macs in person, because I never got to see an eMac, iMac G5, Powerbook, nor a Power Mac G5 up close. It was also hard to gain my composer be there. I was like, "Whoa!". It was also pleasing to see people there purchasing their first mac.

The other one in Rockaway, NJ is pretty small. One side of the store has iPods and different sound docks and the other row is simply a mini, 2 different iMacs, 1 powerMac, and some laptops. The people that go there stink tho, most are people that could care less about macs and just want to ichat to their friends for ages. The help there is a really friendly but due to the fact that its a newer store, the service can be kinda slow. It took me over 45 minutes to buy my iPod there for them to figure out how to ring it up (I had a gift certificate and was paying the rest via credit card). I blame that on the store being new. For quick things I like to go here, if I know they have it but the other store has a much better selection. Heck their software section seems to be bigger then the showroom of the other store. All in all they are really cool stores, but people that go in there can really ruin the "experience" that apple tries to set forth for us. |
