i NEED an application i can get for my mac that is an xfire client....ive tried a few but none seemed to work..i need one that actually works
please

new macbook unibody 13" (only 799$) core 2 duo 2.28ghz, 2gb RAM, 250gb,macosx snow leopard

Google. There's an XFire plugin for Adium, which is a multi-network IM/chat client. Good luck.

nope, tried that one, just found what i was looking for though..
