Clearing harddrive and starting over.

I have one of the older Macbooks with OS X 10.4.11. I was wondering if I could just completely clear the harddrive, buy the box set with the OS X Snow Lepord and just start completely over. Thanks ahead for any help.

Yes that would be fine. Boot from the Snow Leopard disc, go into Utilities, erase your hard drive and format, then back to Installer and let it do its thing.
