Do real movie makers like things that are shown in theaters use FCP? Or is there some special software that they use? I have always wondered this, and considering that most producers of anything use a Mac, I thought I would ask here.

Well it is really up to the preference of the directors. One notable director that used Final Cut Pro for his film would be Francis Ford Coppola, so there you go.
