I have recently moved a frequently used folder onto the desktop to enable me to save things straight to it and also to get things from it easily rather than go into the 'Macintosh HD' icon or 'finder'.
However when i try to save things -from pages- for example to this folder the 'Desktop' option comes up (as a destination to save) and several folders that are on the desktop but not this particular folder. So it obviously doesn't recognise or see this folder. I can still save onto the desktop directly and then drag the file into the target folder but it's a bit annoying. It should be able to go straight there shouldn't it?

I would appreciate any help.

So have you found that if you get this selection, the Blue Square opens 'File Selector' window, then you can navigate to where you want;
