Welcome Peter!

I'm a Mac newbie myself. Just a week and half into my experience! I'm in love here too! Makes you wonder what the heck we've been doing messing with PC's for so long huh?

Enjoy it man! You're love will just grow!

P.S. I TOTALLY see now how Mac users tend to grow more into a cult than a customer base

Yea, I've been in the cult all along. Senior member. Considering my age, it's pretty impressive that I've been using macs since I'd use my dad's old SE II to play Arkanoid. Never owned a dos/windows box. I had the opportunity to play with them, but even with the limited software and such, I preferred classic OS.

Anyway, lots of good people around here with a ton of knowledge. If we can't help you out, Apple tech support should probably be the next call.

Enjoy the machine.

There are a few of us kicking around. It's a shame I don't have any of my old old boxes. My 7200/120 I don't even know what happened to. I think my iMac G3 grape trayloader is kicking around my dad's office somewhere. Same with the first eMac I owned, an 800MHz model... right now we've got my fiancee's 1.25GHz eMac that is the oldest machine I have around. Definitely the oldest I have running, although my dad has a bondi powermac g3 running jaguar in his office.
