Newbie, Snow Leopard. iMac 24, 2.66. It says to uninstall Onyx, go in to the menu. I can not find such menu button on Onyx. Thanks for the help.

I believe the OnyX disk image comes with an uninstaller. Have you checked it?

It is 2.1 As far as I can tell, I checked the disk image. I'm not real educated on the Mac system. I have the tool bar with the options for various actions, but nothing that looks like menu.

Yes, 2.1 requires you to use the menu option to uninstall it. When OnyX is open, go to the OnyX menu (top left hand corner of the screen) and select "Uninstall OnyX...".

this is till proving problematic for me, when i go to the menu and choose uninstall, it says something like cannot uninstall onyx because onyx cannot be deleted.... what does that mean? do i have to reinstall it first?

I've recently downloaded Onyx 2.4.0 and this is in my Applications/Utilities folder. However, I already had Onyx 1.8.5 in the Applications folder.

How can I delete Onyx 1.8.5?

Thanks in advance.
