Safari hangs while saving stuff

My safari hangs about 50% whenever im saving an image or webpage to my MBP. when i right click and save image as, and den hit enter, 50% it will hang with the spinning beachball. den i gotta force quit safari. is it a known problem, or is it just me? thanks

This happens to me as well on my iMac.

Try resetting Safari, also /Library/Preferences/. Delete the file named 'com.apple.Safari.plist'.
