hello all, new owner of a Imac after several PC crashes. So far so good. I will definately spend a lot of time reading the threads to learn. two quick questions...Is the Apple Icon on the front of the screen supposed to illuminate??? And while typing in text editor or in these forums how do you delete without placing the curser behind what you want to delete?

Thanks

The apple on the front doesn't illuminate. It's actually the location of the IR receiver for the remote IIRC.
