Hello,
I've been a reader of this forum for couple years now since I bought my white macbook back in 2007. I am wondering if I should hold off on buying an imac or mac mini for now and wait for update on hardware. Also, I play WoW on my macbook and it runs decent since I have 4GB RAM with GMA X3100, will iMac with GeForce 9400M be an upgrade or not much different? What about iMac ability to run games vs mac mini? Since they are about $400 different and if they are not much different I would just go with the mini. Thanks in advance David |

If you can wait...then wait. Regarding the $400 price difference between the iMac & Mac Mini. Remember when you buy an iMac you're also getting: - a display - a keyboard - a mouse - a larger aluminum housing which costs more money HTH, - Nick - Computer slow, too many "beachballs", read this: Beachballs - Computer seems slower than it used to? I'd go for the iMac, but wait a couple of months. Also, the 9400M is leaps and bounds better than the onboard intel GMA. I also play WoW, and it's waaaaay better on my MacBook with the 9400m than the old intel GMA 950 in my dad's Mac Mini. I know the x3100 is "better" but it's still an intel integrated card. You'll see a difference. I run WoW about 75-80% of full graphics capabilities.
