PDF questionThis is my first time to have trouble opening a downloaded PDF file. It is 70mg. My instructions were to go to runbox.com and log in, click on the file and then download it. All this happens fine. But, when I try to open the file all I see is a list of numbers line after line. I don't think mac has anything to open it with. My PC friend says it opens just fine for her. Word will not open it for me, nor will any other application. When I download it to the PC it opens with acrobat. I really don't want it on the PC.
When I went back to runbox it had lots of PC instructions but no reference to mac. I am sure the person doing the magazine is doing this on a mac.

Probably a bad or incomplete download. Delete the file and try again.
I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.

What are the first few lines in that file
It may be a postcript file or corrupt PDF
You may have to get them to upload the PDF againMember of the Month September 2008 & August 2012| Found advice useful? – use the rep system

Yeah, probably a corrupt file - Preview seems to open pretty well anything, so if that isn't working, it's probably the file's fault.

The file was indeed corrupt. It was resent to another place--yousendit--and came through just fine. Thanks for the pointers.
