Hi

My ISP is providing me with McAffee Anti Virus for Mac. Has anyone used it? What is it like on system resources? I currently don't run any anti virus software on my Mac (I wouldn't dare run a Windows OS without it) so is it worth installing?

Thanks

No. You will find many threads here with people claiming to have a virus and many responses after stating the lack of necessity of an anti-virus program. Just practice vigilance when using your computer and you should be fine.

Also, if it's like any AV program I've seen, it will use many more system resources than it really should have to.
