i have a chance to borrow photoshop7 and dreamweaver mx for mac from a friend. can those versions of that software safely be installed on multiple machines? Or will the Feds kick my door in?

Yes, you should be all right. Some do check online unbeknowst to the user.

i used to use zonealarm on my pc to block programs from automatically accessing the internet. is there a way to do this on a mac?
