photo booth help

Okay, so i downloaded new effects from apple.com called 'alterego' or something. Now, every time I open photo booth and try to view the effects, it unexpectidly quits on me, every single time. So I went to Applications and dragged the 'alterego' to the trash and but theres still more pages than normal in my photobooth. Any ideas on how to fully get rid of the other application so I can actually use my photobooth?
