Hi,

I recently bought myself a macbook pro 17", the resolution is 1920*1200.

I do find that a lot of things are too small on my screen. Is it possible to make everything bigger without changing the resolution?

Thanks in advance

Try clicking on the Desktop, then press the Command+J combo which should bring up a box in which you can change the sizes of the desktop icons along with the font size underneath.

As for the Dock, you can change the size of it under System Preferences > Dock.

From what I have read, TinkerTool might do the job for you.

I wished I knew the answer to this too... I just do the command + thing... You can also hold down your control key and scroll your mouse and it will zoom the whole window.

In firefox, you can go to Preferences > Contents> Advanced. Then select "minimum font size" to 18 (or whatever you want). Works great. I usually use command +.

I forgot about the control-scroll thing. That's pretty cool for zooming in on stuff.
