I'm going on Holiday to America and I have $1000 to spend, so I wanted to get an iPod Touch but I was also thinking about buying a Macbook, I don't think I'd have enough though would I ? What kind of Macbook should I get ? I'm just going to be browsing the internet, using Photoshop and making music with it probably so I don't need a Macbook Pro. I also want to try and learn the programming language for making iPod touch apps.
Preferably one that would leave me with money to get an iPod Touch. |

I bought a iMac with a 24" monitor back in December and I love it. I just bought the 13" Macbook (aluminum body) and it was delivered on Tuesday and it's the "cats". I just went to Vegas on a business trip and had to take my HP laptop with 17 inch monitor and it was like carrying a concrete block. This Macbook I can pick up with 2 fingers. So I'm configuring my iMac for my photo processing and Macbook for the business side of it all. It's mobility is great and it's a classy machine.
Best of Luck.... Frank Lauri |

Well that's your opinion. I like my white MB it goes along with all the other stark white stuff that I own.

I paid £450.00 + VAT in July 2008 for a white macbook with the least spec possible. Then upgraded it to 4GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive (7200 rpm) for an extra ~ £150. I did not want to spend the extra for an aluminium one, especially with no fire-wire.
Sold my old macbook for £400.00

I think white MB is the best. I'm not sure of the price, because there are some stores with different unique prices, but you better have to check it out, it's quite amazing.
