first post. macbook pro unibody 15 " 2.4 probably messed around with Keychain when I should NOT have! I do NOT have a master log on password, do not need one as I am the only user. now when I log in my mail it asks me for a password. Not the one I set up with the email handler but some other password. Q. What happens if I DELETE the whole Keychain application? Thanks much in advance for the forums help...

Deleting the application will not help. Use Keychain Access to delete the login keychain - that should fix your problem.
QUOTE Thanks
