WinRar & Torrent Downloader

Hi all, ive had my unibody macbook for about a week now having used windows for 12+ years and i am in need of WinRar or a similar app, a link would be really good. Also i D/L torrents alot can any recommend a good torrent downloader, again a link would be really helpful. Thanks in advance.

UnRarX - Mac OS X RAR Extraction Utility
transmission for the torrents the most lightweight client i know of and pretty feature rich also

For Rar, you might want to look into SimplyRAR. I recommended it to someone else and they enjoyed it.

Transmission will be a popular response for torrents. There is also a uTorrent beta and Vuze.

transmission seems pretty good so going to stick with that for a bit, thanks for all the suggestions. this forum will be very useful to me

Transmission is great, but as far as decompressing RAR archives, I prefer The Unarchiver.
