how do i chg. icons?

i'm having trouble following the help instructions as to how to chg. icons

i d/l this set from the apple site: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macos...rs/minium.html

i need help installing these icons

Mac Specs: Macbook, iMac G5, iPad, iPhone 4, iPod (MANY)!

iWhat is offline
Control + Click, then Get Info, on the icon you would like to change and the new icon to replace the old. Click on the new icon in the upper part of the Get Info window to highlight the icon, then Command + C, then click on the old icon in the upper part of the windows of the Get Info window to highlight it, then Command + V. Then, you should be all set.

I use CandyBar, but it ain't free, sorry. Maybe, there is another program that I'm not familiar with that might do the trick. Someone else might know.
