After being a PC person since I was ~8, I've switched to Mac.

I bought a Dual 1.8 G5 and a "clearance" 17" Studio Display

I've never been happier with a computer. Other than it coming with a defective mouse, all I can say is: "It just works."

I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions in the near future.

I wouldn't even bother with an Apple mouse. Get a nice scrolling mouse and be more productive. "Thinking Different" doesn't mean being less efficient.

I purchase my first Mac last month.

Still deciding what I want to use for a mouse. I got the one that came with it replaced and it's 100x better.

I have a Logitech TrackMan Wheel that I used in lieu of the broken mouse, now I'm deciding what route to take. The trackball probably won't stay hooked up to this machine for long, GF is left handed.

I was really disapointed that a machine as expensive as this came with a dud mouse, but the Apple Store stood behind it, and I was up and running in no time, and that's the important part.
QUOTE Thanks
