locking files and folders??

Hey,

Is it possible to put a password on individual folders? like the documents folder or music folder? if so how do I do this?

1. Why? Your user account has a password. Nobody but yourself should be using your account. If other users need access to your files, then place them in the /Users/Shared folder.

2. Use Disk Utility to create encrypted disk images
