opening multiple apps

Q from a Noob!
Is it possible to open multiple apps at the same time? I want a couple of automator actions and a mp3 tag editor to start eveytime I start iTunes.
Ideally, I'd like to switch to a space and have these apps start automatically, but I'm pretty certain this can't be done.
TIA
John

I think you'd need a custom script or something to solve that one

you can at least assign apps to spaces so that when you start it it automatically switches to the specified space - done in the Exposé & Spaces pref pane in system preferences in the middle section you can add programs with the + and assign a space from the drop-down

it's actually very simple, I started to write the script but then I googled for exactly what you need:
iUseApple » Blog Archive » AppleScript 101: Open 3 Applications At Once!
just follow it to make your script
