All,

What is the magic sauce for transferring email contacts from Blackberry Curve to the MacBook Pro?

Thanks,

Has anyone used the PocketMac successfully? I attempted to sync a few times and while I can sync (or so it seems) contacts do not port over. I chose all the options and no luck in any of them. Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Ron Scott

Have you tried the "overwrite mac" option? That initially got them over for me to my Black MacBook.

Odd, I use it all the time and it seems to work great with my contacts. For some odd reason though, the last few syncs, my music didn't sync. It simply erased my music on there and didn't load anything.

Lots of people have lots of problems with this. Check out the forums on Blackberry.com. I have a PocketMac tech support person working on my problems, and so far he has not fixed anything. My calendar syncs just fine, but contacts keep duplicating and triplicating, PM erases info from my macbook, does not pick up all the fields, etc. It also will not sync bookmarks, even after installing the software it says I need.

So far, I think it is a piece of junk!

After trying Pocket Mac a few times, I gave up on it. Maybe that's to be expected from freeware. I broke down and bought Missing Sync ($40). Downloaded to Mac right away and downloaded to BB. I had the BB already recognized in Bluetooth and off we go. Downloaded address book wirelessly and it even has a setting that allows the Mac & BB to sync automatically when they are within range of each other. I just need to figure out how to move the addresses over to Entourage
