So I have the new MacBook 2.0 but I can't play DVD's? I just rented a regular normal DVD from the store, and VLC or quicktime do not want to play it. Do I need something else? Thanks.

Have you tried the app DVD Player? Have you tried it in a normal DVD player to make sure the problem doesn't lie within the disc?
